Hello Hewitt families,
Wanted to pass along a couple of announcements. First in case you haven’t heard the 5th grade class will be putting on a dance performance this Friday from 11-12pm in the Hoover auditorium. They have been spending this trimester with Resident Artist Ms. Neel and will be showcasing what they’ve learned. 

Second, Mr. Hewitt is looking for a female volunteer to help organize the girls for the performance. If you are able to come early to help with this please let Mr. Hewitt know.

Lastly, the slate for next year’s PTA board has been posted in the school lobby. Anyone who’s a PTA member is welcome to vote at the next association meeting on March 27, at 6pm in the cafeteria.

APEX in the rain update

In case you haven’t heard, there have been some changes to the Apex Fun Run due to the rain. 

We will do a dance party remix in Hoover's gym rather than running laps on the track. Kids are sure to get in as many steps dancing as they would have running.  The schedule is as follows. There will be 2 sessions:

8:30 - 9:30             3rd, 4th and 5th grades

10:00 - 11:00       Kinder, 1st and 2nd grades

Parents - if you are still able to volunteer with the time change, we really appreciate your help and flexibility.  Volunteers will enter Hoover and sign in and out with a Keppel Staff member at the blue gate in the front of Hoover High School (in between the auditorium and front entrance) with our standard check in and out procedures.  Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding.

Thanks for being flexible.
