5th grade committee info

Hello 5th Grade Families!

Just wanted to bring you up to date on few things from your 5th Grade Committee.  

--CAMP:   We have started collecting the first payment of $175 (payable to MKS), which is due by 10/26. We had a meeting 2 weeks ago and a packet also went home with payment and camp information.  If you missed the meeting, you can watch the video that was shown by clicking the link at the bottom of this email.  We have also attached the forms in case you need them again.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the 5th grade teachers or any of the committee members. 

--FUNDRAISING EFFORTS: We are working hard to raise funds for all the fun 5th grade events, and to make sure everyone can be part of the camp experience.  The movie night, our first large event, was lots of fun and raised over $1,500.  Our first dine out at McDonald's raised over $800. 

Please participate in these upcoming events!

    

    Dine-Out Nights:  Thursday, 10/25 - California Pizza Kitchen on Brand Blvd., all day

                                    Wednesday, 11/3 - Chipotle on Glendale Ave., 4-8pm

 

   Box Tops:  Please clip, collect and turn in to either your teacher or the front office by 10/31.  And then keep clipping for our spring box tops event!

--KEPPEL ROCKS:  MKS puts on this great event, and 5th grade gets 20% of the profits.  We will be running the concession stand and need lots of volunteers to make it a success.  Please sign up using this form (to add your name, please view on a computer or use the google drive app):
