Write your "A Gift of Literature" paragraph with quote attached - you can work on the gift wrapping part at home.  Make two copies of the final draft so I can see one.  Explain the assignment to your parents to clarify and be creative.

80s skate night

Good Evening Everyone!

I wanted to remind you to make sure and purchase your tickets for the upcoming 80's Skate Night, if you haven't already.  It's a great time to spend with the family and have some fun!  

Just a few reminders.....All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.  Everyone will need a ticket to enter Moonlight Roller way.  If you are a skating adult, the tickets are $15.00 each or if you are a non-skating adult, the tickets are $10.00 each.  All children are $10.00 each.  If you are writing a check, please make it out to MKS with 5th Grade Committee in the memo section.

Barnes and Noble Night

Here's a note from 5th grade committee -

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to remind you all that our Barnes and Noble book fair is this Friday, December 11th from 6-8pmat the Barnes and Noble in the Americana at Brand.  See our amazing teachers read from their favorite books.  Please mention Mark Keppel and a percentage of purchases all day will go back to 5th grade.  You can also mention Mark Keppel at the Café.  With our school code, purchases online will count from 12/11 to 12/16.  You can also order a cheesecake from the Café and a percentage of the cheesecake will also go to 5th grade.  On Friday night, we are offering gift wrapping on the 3rd  floor.  If you show up at 5:30, you can join for a trolley ride with all your Keppel friends.  The trolley at the Americana is reserved for Mark Keppel from 5:30 to the start of our event.  Hope to see you all there.
