THANK YOU

A huge thanks to those who donated Kleenex in this rather blustery allergy season!  I received a huge box in the office (I couldn't determine from whom but thank you) and a shopping bag from the Gibsons.  It is sincerely appreciated :)

and Book Fair volunteers needed (my apologies for the formatting, I'm tech challenged)

Hello again Parents!
It seems like there is a lot of information to pass along today. Here is some information from the Keppel 5th grade committee about the upcoming Book fair:

The Book Fair is coming!  This fun annual event will be held from Monday, April 1- Friday, April 5.  Kids will have the opportunity to purchase great books and the school receives a portion of the profits!   In addition to class visits during the school day, the book fair will be open after school, and we will be holding the special "Donuts with Daddy" event in the morning on Thursday, April 4.

We need your help to make this event a success!  It is always a huge hit with the kids and a great fundraiser for our school.
Please use the link below to sign up.

Thanks!

Kleenex needed

Help!

I have run out of the nice soft tissue paper that has been so generously donated in the past, and my friends with allergies and colds are now stuck using industrial strength all purpose hand towels.  If you can lend a hand that would be fantastic.  Thank you!!

APEX results

Hello Parents,

The Make Keppel Special Foundation (MKS) asked that we forward the below message to you. A big thanks to everyone that participated!!

****************************************

The results are in! After 2 weeks of leadership lessons, classroom visits, and a day full of energy, excitement, and pretty sweet dance moves, MKS is happy to report that the total amount of pledges Mark Keppel raised from the Apex Fundraiser was over $76,000! WOOOOOOWWWW! Amazing job, Mark Keppel!

In addition to that, 300 students were able to provide clean drinking water for 4 years to communities where it is not easily available through the Thirst Project.

Between the Family Fund Drive and the Apex Fundraiser, we are getting closer to our goal of $120,000. Remember, donations to MKS benefit ALL Keppel Students by providing:

• Resident Artists in Dance, Music, Theatre, and Visual Art
• Intervention Teachers
• Art programs and experiences

MKS would like to thank the parents, students, volunteers, supporters, teachers and staff for their dedication to the Apex Fun Run/Remix. Without your efforts, we would not have been able to have such a successful event. A special thank you also has to go out to Hoover High School for letting us use their gymnasium at the last minute. You all help to MAKE KEPPEL SPECIAL!

Parent Survey

Hello Parents,

The Mark Keppel PTA, on behalf of Ms.Tonoli and GUSD, asked that we forward the below message to you.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

****************************************

Dear Keppel Families,

Please take a few minutes (15 to be exact) to complete the GUSD 2018-2019 Parent Culture Survey. This survey is anonymous, so please be honest with your feedback. Your answers will help the principal and our district work on areas that need improvement depending on your feedback.  For those who wish to be contacted, you can leave your information at the end of the survey.  There’s also room for comments. They are asking for a separate survey per child.

Let your voices be heard. It will make a difference.
